I wasn't going to do home made Christmas cards this year (I committed myself to too many other projects), but we had a wonderful snow day on Sunday and I decided to go ahead and carve one at the last minute. Even if you don't consider yourself especially artistic, this is a great way to create a custom card. You could just carve snowflakes or some other simple design. I used a linoleum block (remember high school art class?) and carved a picture of Sea Kettle on it. I printed about 5 prints, then made color copies. I cut the prints out, punched two holes and tied raffia to keep them together.
