update

Thank you to everyone who has sent messages/comments/emails and to those of you who are praying for my Dad. I'm sorry I didn't write an update sooner, but the reality is that he's been going in for various tests, biopsies and scans since then and we've been waiting to hear more information ourselves. The long and short of it: it looks like the cancer is in a mass in his lung and one lymphnode. The other places they've checked look cancer-free (brain, other lymphnodes). We still don't know if the cancer is new or the old cancer that spread. Best case scenario would be that it is a new cancer that is well contained and can be removed. No matter what, he will have surgery to take out part of his lung the week after my brother gets married (Oct. 6) and then probably have chemo and radiation. Would you continue praying for us?

  2. You do not know what the future holds...but you know who holds the future. It is a tragedy that so many people go through life without our wonderful Savior. I am sorry to hear that, once again, he is facing a tough road. Praying strength, healing, wisdom and grace for the journey. May God be glorified in the midst of it all, your faith is a testimony and witness for those who do not know Him personally. Blessings...
