Sometimes after an often hectic day of teaching a multitude of energetic boys (whom I love), I get to come home to quietly (emphasis on quiet) teach a couple of very dear children how to paint.
We carefully take out brushes and tubes. We adjust our easels. A little yellow and a little blue. How do you make gray, again? We mix and test it on the canvas. We play soft music proclaiming truth. We look. And look again. Adjust. Paint. Repaint. It's a calm, curious, silent study.
And just look at what beauty they are creating!
