This Moment - Symphony Hall Edition

(On Saturday, Brian and I enjoyed St. John's Passion by Bach at Symphony Hall in Boston. I would highly recommend experiencing this piece live, especially during Holy Week.  It was most meditative and moving.)

Nursery Progress: A Bird Mobile

I knew I wanted to make my own mobile for the nursery and was immediately inspired when I saw this post at Spool Sewing. Since the birds are all hand sewn, it was the perfect road trip project. After creating the birds, Brian and I went to one of our favorite spots to collect a nice stick for them to perch on. I love how it turned out and hopefully baby will enjoy it as well!

Wedding Gift

Remember the photo/typography art I made this year for Christmas gifts?  Well, I decided to whip one up for the newly married couple.  Hope this can find it's way onto the walls of the farm house. 

Wedding Road Trip to Tennessee

I wanted to share some shots of the beautiful wedding we were able to witness in the hills of Tennessee. It was a gorgeous spring day and the setting couldn't be more perfect for a romantic farm wedding. It was such a blessing to see my dear friends and share in the joy of Caroline and David's wedding.

On our way home from the wedding, we made a quick day-long stop in D.C for a little fun and culture.  We spent the afternoon at the National Gallery of Art, had an amazing Italian meal at the museum cafe, then finished the day enjoying the plant life at the National Botanical Gardens. 

Here's to hoping that this beautiful weather heads up north soon!

April Vacation Road Trip!

This weekend, we drove out to attend a friend's wedding at a lovely family farm in Tennessee. In fact, I'm off hanging out with some of my Yemen girls! So, probably not a lot of blogging will be done in the next few days...we're hoping to be back by Friday. Enjoy your week, friends!
