My most recent knitting obsession is just as cute as can be. My friend, Tim, who is also an avid knitter sent me along this pattern for a "Baby Cuddle Sack" (or a "Baby Sock", as Brian likes to call them).
Since giving these away, I've had one mother say that this is one of her new favorite baby accessories! So, I really can't help but make one of these for everyone I know having a baby in the winter months. (And I can't promise you that I didn't make one for my July baby, too...come on, air conditioning can be really cold, right!?)
And here's cousin Caroline enjoying her little cuddle sack!
Baby Boy Francis sleeps in his every single night. It keeps him toasty warm, and he can't kick it loose like he did to the receiving blankets. He doesn't like to be swaddled, so this has been perfect for him.
ReplyDeleteCaroline still loves hers! Such a great idea :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just too cute! Ahh! <3
ReplyDeleteIt's like a really long hat!! Such a good idea!!
ReplyDeleteI just started up a knitting group in my little town here, and I bought me some nice yarn and I was needing a pattern! No longer ;) Thanks for passing it on! My May baby surely needs one of these!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Make sure to post your baby's cuddle sack, Caroline!
