so that everyone he has made may know his work...
God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth', and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’ So that everyone he has made may know his work... Job 37:5-7
I love the part where he says "He does great things beyond our understanding". Too many people are always questioning, trying to understand, then not believing because they don't understand and have given themselves a false conclusion. Some things are not meant to be understood...
ReplyDelete"Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" (2:10).
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about trouble, in light of Job's story. I'm challenged by his response to suffering.
I am also unsettled. God's actions confuse me. Every time I read the book of Job I am angry. Very angry.
Then I come to that God-given rebuke:
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I LAID THE EARTH'S FOUNDATION?
And I fall to my knees...
P.S. beautiful photo! :)
