Decorating the Kettle for Christmas - Inside Edition

This past week we've been slowly but surely decking Sea Kettle for the holidays. Here's what happening inside...the outdoor edition is coming soon!
Remember this?
Our nativity.
My lovely "Way of Light" Wreath, handmade in Canada
and used with this advent book from Ann Voskamp.
My peace birds, a gracious gift from Anneliese

My wonderfully worn antique advent calendar, found at The White Elephant for $1!
Remember my autumn mums? I decided to use the same idea to make these winter balls of wonder. :)
and some old fashioned snowflakes for the kitchen windows
Hope you all are having a very Merry Christmas season!

  1. Kerrie, I always enjoy visiting your beautiful blog. I wish we were neighbors, and my house glowed with His presence side by side to your Kettle. I caught up on your recent post, but will need to start the day very soon, can't comment on each one. But. Love the hat, love the cat, the advent circle (Ann right?)reminds me I need to praise & magnify the Maker. Your decor is splendid. Simple & pointing the way to Him. Be blessed this holiday, Laura

  3. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been searching for an advent calendar rich in meaning and tradition. Enough counting down with chocolates, already! ;)

Also, thank you for reminding me about paper snowflakes. Something more to do with my niece/nephews at Christmastime.

  5. What a beautiful home! My husband and I lived in Boston for a year and loved it and New England! My favorite picture has to be the Nativity with the additional cat - looking a bit unimpressed I might add. :-)
