living in the deep blues

stormy skies
and silhouettes show
september's breeze and sway

flitter leaves, blushing trees

and the atlantic still lapping- 

gentle.

skipping stones break quiet waters

his childhood tales, small pebbles;

blooms shine bright in soft dusky light.

we lived so well in these deep blues-

windswept friends

in autumn's wide-open glory.

we kissed there in the shadows.
